Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)Reports to: Managing Director / CEOJob SummaryThe CFO is responsible for overseeing the financial strategy, planning, and management of the textile manufacturing company. This role ensures financial stability, cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and supports business growth through strong financial leadership, particularly in manufacturing operations, supply chain, and export-oriented environments , and have good experience in wholesales, Retail .Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Strategy & PlanningDevelop and implement short-term and long-term financial strategies aligned with business goalsLead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processesSupport expansion plans, capacity utilization, and capital investments (machinery, plants)Financial Operations & ControlOversee accounting, costing, treasury, taxation, and internal controlsEnsure accurate product costing (yarn, fabric, processing, garments) and margin analysisMonitor working capital, inventory, receivables, and payablesManufacturing & Cost ManagementDrive cost control initiatives across production, procurement, and logisticsAnalyze raw material price fluctuations (cotton, yarn, chemicals) and mitigate risksImprove operational efficiency and reduce wastageCompliance & Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with statutory, tax, audit, and regulatory requirementsManage internal and external auditsIdentify financial risks and implement mitigation strategiesCash Flow & TreasuryManage cash flow, banking relationships, and financing arrangementsOversee loans, credit facilities, forex exposure, and hedging (if export-oriented)Leadership & Stakeholder ManagementLead and mentor the finance and accounts teamPresent financial reports to the Board, investors, and lendersWork closely with production, procurement, sales, and HR teamsQualifications & ExperienceChartered Accountant (CA) / CPA / MBA (Finance)10β15+ years of experience in finance, preferably in textile or manufacturing industriesStrong knowledge of manufacturing costing, inventory management, and taxationExperience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)Exposure to exports, forex management, and government incentives is an advantageKey SkillsStrategic thinking and financial leadershipStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDeep understanding of textile manufacturing processesExcellent communication and stakeholder managementHigh integrity and attention to detail
