TitleField AccountantKBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for a Field Accountant to support the multi-year general maintenance services contract covering Petro Rabigh Polymer I and Polymer II plants at Rabigh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.The Field Accountant will be responsible for executing accounting policies and procedures involving the maintenance of field general ledgers, asset and liability accounts, analysis of balance sheet accounts, and management financial reporting relevant to the job site. Under general supervision, and occasional direct supervision, performs assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within the field of accounting.ResponsibilitiesPerform accounting function and activities including one or more activities of billing, revenue recognition, project financial status reports, overhead accounting, master data management, fixed assets accounting, accruals, account reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and reportingRequire frequent communication and coordination with managers and other key stakeholders in various KBR offices globallyMaintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practicesShould adhere to all controls and compliance including SoX / business controlsProvide supporting documentation for auditsSupport general project business operations by providing administrative support activities such as data entry, reporting, correspondence, and basic analysis requiring attention to detailAny other functions as may be allocated by supervisorQualificationsBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field2 + years of directly related experienceStrong accounting knowledge - provide full spectrum of accounting support including handling of full set of accounts; monthly closing of books, accounts reconciliations; management financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, anti-corruption, and SOX complianceExperience in project accounting activities for engineering and construction companies or experience in F&A of multinational companies including F&A shared services preferredHands on experience in SAP, Costpoint, HFM, Cadency / AssureNet, MS Office etc.Possess analytical skills with attention to detailsPrevious field experience is preferredWork requires professional English written and strong verbal communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to create strong working relationships with global stakeholdersSuccessfully manage tight timelinesAbility to successfully work in a multicultural environmentBelong.
