Here, you’ll be supported in progressing – whatever your ambitions.As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the accounting operations for Boston Scientific Saudi Arabia, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence across divisions. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a strong control environment, supporting business operations, and ensuring alignment with both local statutory requirements and corporate financial policies.You will partner closely with regional finance teams, FP&A, GBS, supply chain, HR, and external stakeholders while driving process improvements, supporting audits, and contributing to the overall finance strategy within a dynamic multinational environment.Your Responsibilities Will IncludeManage day-to-day accounting operations for Boston Scientific Saudi Arabia, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of financial recordsOversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes in line with corporate timelines and reporting requirementsMonitor and supervise accounting activities including general ledger reconciliations, accounts payable, fixed assets, and month-end activitiesAnalyze accounting data and prepare financial reports and statements to support decision-making and compliance requirementsManage cash transactions, banking relationships, treasury activities, and working capital monitoring in coordination with relevant stakeholdersEnsure compliance with US GAAP, local accounting standards, VAT, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements in Saudi ArabiaManage intercompany accounting activities and financial flows between Saudi Arabia and international entitiesMaintain and strengthen internal controls while ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and governance requirementsLead and coordinate internal and external audit activities, ensuring timely resolution of audit findingsSupport finance transformation initiatives, process optimization, and ERP/system implementation projects, including SAP S/4HANA enhancementsPartner cross-functionally with FP&A, GBS, supply chain, HR, and regional finance teams to support operational and financial objectivesCoach, mentor, and support team members while fostering a collaborative and high-performance finance cultureWhat We Are Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum of 8–10 years' progressive accounting experience, including at least 2–3 years in a managerial roleProfessional accounting certification such as SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is preferredStrong understanding of financial accounting principles, internal controls, and compliance frameworksExperience with US GAAP is highly desirablePrevious experience within a multinational organization is strongly preferredExperience with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems is a strong advantageAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelFull professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)Competencies And BehaviorsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsHigh level of accuracy, attention to detail, and accountabilityAbility to work collaboratively across functions and within a matrix organizationHands-on approach with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesDemonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop othersContinuous improvement mindset with focus on operational efficiency and process enhancementAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentWhat We Can OfferOpportunity to work within a global leader in medical technologyExposure to a dynamic international finance environmentCareer development and learning opportunities across EMEA and GEMCollaborative culture focused on innovation and continuous improvementCompetitive compensation and benefits packageHybrid and flexible working environment where applicableRequisition ID: 629242Boston Scientific transforms lives through innovative medical technologies that improve the health of patients around the world.
